We've got you covered every step of the way! So what are those new benefits? The first new benefit: Choose Your Amount. If you opt into this coverage, should anything happen to your car that would cause its value to drop below the agreed amount (for example if there was vandalism), CSAA will pay up to $250 toward repairs of damage up to $5,000 per incident.

Another new benefit: Advance Payment is included on most new policies if the driver has this coverage, their premiums are usually reduced by 10%. With Advance Payment Plus, customers have lower rates due in part because their premiums are paid automatically once a month on a recurring basis.

How Do I Become a Member?

It's easy to become a member. You can request an application or complete an online application at any time. Once you've filled out your application, make sure to sign it and get it back to us as soon as possible! If we have questions about anything on your application, we'll contact you by phone. If you need help with something on the application or want more information about our company, call 888-826-4222 between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM Pacific Time Monday through Friday. There are four types of membership that may apply to you:

1) Membership for Families - Membership for families who are parents or guardians with one or more minor children under 18 years old living in their household.

2) Individual Member - Membership for adults (18 years old and over) who live alone or do not have minor children in their household.

3) Active Military/Veteran Member - Provides personal automobile insurance coverage when traveling outside the United States including war zones, NATO countries and some selected overseas U.S. territories (i.e., Guam).

4) Life Member - Must be at least 60 years old to qualify for this membership category; no requirements for family members, but will require payment for them separately if applicable.

Once You Are an AAA Member, How Do You Enroll in The Plus Program?

Once you are an AAA member, you can enroll in The Plus Program. To do so, complete the Plus Program Enrollment Form and send it to The Plus Program with a copy of your driver's license and any other relevant documentation. As soon as your application is processed, you will be notified by mail or email that you have been accepted into the program.

Once your application has been approved, you will receive a Welcome Kit containing your ID card and membership card, as well as valuable information about what's covered under your policy. You may also request free personalized cards for yourself and/or family members. If you move from one residence to another, change your vehicle registration address, or change the name on your insurance certificate, call us at 1-800-822-8700 so we can update our records.
