Auto Insurance from AAA: Protection on the Road and Beyond
While AAA is most commonly known as an auto club, with memberships that offer roadside assistance, travel discounts, and more, many people don’t realize that AAA also offers insurance to members in most states.
With comprehensive coverage options and great customer service, AAA insurance can be a solid choice for anyone looking to keep their car protected on the road or beyond. Here’s how you can use it to your advantage and make sure you’re always driving with the best protection possible.
When Can You Save Money with AAA
If you've been struggling to find affordable car insurance, that search may have just come to an end. The average cost of auto insurance nationwide is roughly $1,242 per year. But it's hard to say whether you're getting a good deal without first comparing rates. That's where the Auto Club Group comes in. Now known as AAA, they provide both roadside assistance and auto club memberships (the latter providing a wide range of discounts, including fuel surcharges).
What's more, their auto insurance is available at competitive rates for many drivers - from individuals to companies with as many as 1 million drivers on board. Some exclusions apply; so if you are ineligible for coverage due to any preexisting conditions or other criteria, be sure to check out your individual policy options before you buy!
- Coverage options are tailored to each driver's needs
- Discounts available depending on your membership level
- Nationwide policies offered, regardless of state residence
- You can request quotes online or over the phone
Special Situations
As America's auto club, AAA provides its members with benefits beyond basic roadside assistance. These include emergency towing, car rental, travel discounts, and discounts on hotels, restaurants, and theme parks. What's more, their travel protection policies include medical expenses incurred up to $5 million without deductibles or co-pays for eligible situations.

Homeowners Insurance
Have you ever wondered what homeowners insurance is all about? Are you having a hard time figuring out which homeowners insurance policy to choose? Do you know what some of the optional coverages mean? If so, then you should read this blog post. We are going to take a deep dive into understanding what homeowners insurance is and how it can help protect your home in case of fire, theft, or other unforeseen disasters.
It’s important to understand that homeowners insurance is not an investment vehicle; it’s just protection for your most valuable asset. And as with any form of protection, you get what you pay for when it comes to homeowners insurance coverage levels. Higher levels will provide more coverage than lower levels. Let’s start by exploring how much coverage is available for different types of homes in order to give you an idea of costs associated with different levels of coverage.

Motorcycle Coverage
Motorcycle insurance is not typically included in basic car insurance policies, so it is an important consideration when deciding which level of coverage to purchase. There are two types of coverage to choose from: comprehensive or liability.
Comprehensive coverage includes damage caused by fire, theft, vandalism, animal collision, storm damage or impacts with large objects such as trees or buildings. Motorcycle liability coverage pays for damages that you may cause to other people's property or injuries to others in a crash you caused - in essence, protecting your assets and someone else's pocketbook.
If your motorcycle has value over $5,000 - roughly equivalent to 6 months' salary - then comprehensive coverage may be a wise investment since it can pay for the loss of this expensive asset if it is damaged beyond repair.
Liability coverage will only cover the cost of any medical expenses that arise from injury during a crash; however, medical bills can add up quickly even without being injured in a crash. In order to maximize protection, most states allow riders to buy additional underinsured motorist and uninsured motorist coverage at an additional cost.
At AAA we provide insurance for members who own motorcycles up to 125ccs.
